Over 700 local residents visited a further round of drop-in sessions at locations in Edmonton, Enfield and Chingford.
Following the initial exhibitions in July, we held six additional roadshows between 22 September and 4 October to give local people the opportunity to find out more about our proposals.
Our project team were on hand to answer questions about the upgrade and to hand out leaflets and paper feedback forms, as well as giving away water saving freebies, like our four-minute shower timers. The main areas of interest were our plans to significantly reduce the odour produced by the works and how we plan to keep noise and traffic disruption to a minimum while we build the upgrade.
We are planning to hold further exhibitions as part of our second phase of consultation in 2013.
